The Merchant Adventurers' Hall is a unique and prestigious venue for your corporate event. The Hall offers the perfect blend of modern conveniences in a stunning venue and is conveniently located in the historic heart of York.
The Hall makes an excellent setting for corporate dining, whether it's to celebrate with your staff or impress partners and clients. Our six dedicated caterers can provide you with a delicious silver service dinner in the Great Hall, preceeded or followed by a drinks reception and entertainment in the atmospheric Undercroft.
The Great Hall with its capacity of 180 offers a flexible space for conferences and seminars. Whilst the Undercroft is a great space for seperate meetings, refreshments and lunches. Why not finish your event with a closing dinner in the Great Hall? (Allow 1-2 hours for resetting the venue before dinner).
The Hall is Wi-Fi enabled.
Presentations of all types can be held in the stunning Great Hall and can start or finish with reception drinks in the Undercroft.
Looking for a convenient and impressive meeting space in the centre of York? Our Great Hall or Undercroft are excellent for larger groups (from 40-180) whilst the elegant Committee Room is suitable for smaller gatherings of up to 20.
Stiletto heels are not permitted in the Hall, this is to protect both you and our ancient wooden floor. Please ensure that all conference delegates are aware of this.
If corporate guests do have heels that are smaller than a 5 pence coin they will be required to buy heel caps at £3.50 a pair from the Hall office.
