Hidden treasures; a selection of 14th century seals from the museum collections

Jim Poyner 2006

The Hall has collections of paintings, furniture, silver and historic items such as weights and measures – although some of the paintings are not on display because there is simply not enough room for all of them!

Some of the items are still used on special occasions. The 17th century red robes are worn by the governor and other officers and some of the silver is still used at feasts.
