The Merchant Adventurers' Hall, York

The Company of Merchant Adventurers is as flourishing today as it has ever been. There are over 150 members, mainly business and professional people from York and Yorkshire. Members meet for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, business meetings and chapel services. Working with a small but dedicated staff they manage the Company.

Members include people from some of York’s most successful enterprises – commercial firms, developers, the construction industry, tourism and so on. There are also lawyers, financiers, teachers and staff from the Army and City Council. All are people who show a merchant adventuring spirit.
