Merchant Adventurers’ Hall

Having somebody in charge is useful for various reasons:

• It is easier to make decisions if there is one person who has the final word.

• It provides a spokesperson – a face for the company.

• For organisations like the Merchant Adventurers the person in charge has a ceremonial role during special events.

Imagine what would happen if you had a school without someone in charge? Without teachers or a headmaster?
