Every group of people has at least one person who is in charge, responsible for what the group does. Parents do this in families, teachers do this in schools, and managers do this in businesses.
The Merchant Adventurers are no different and since at least 1432 the person in charge has been called the Master or Governor. On the Governors' Board, downstairs in the Merchant Adventurers' Hall, you can see the names of some of the people that did this job. Why not see if you can spot any famous names?
